About the Author

A child of the 80’s and devoted attendant of Saturday Morning Cartoons, my life has been full of adventures great and small, real and imagined. Born in rural America, I grew up in the family lumber business, transitioned to a career in nursing, nonstop solo-sailed the Pacific Ocean (without learning how to tie a knot), and ultimately landed in the Philippines where I write books and live with my wife and five wonderful children.I love science fiction, science fact, and fantasy because they each engage the imagination in different but equally powerful ways. I think storytelling is a cherished part of the human tapestry, and I'm always honored when people lend me a slice of their precious time to engaged with one of my many yarns. Stories should be believable, our characters should face genuine hardship, but the objective of the storyteller is always to inspire the audience.
